Being a groomer...

There's one thing you have to keep in mind. People are picky and I don't mind if they are. I'm picky too. There are so many folks out there that don't give a hoot if pets are stressed by the things we do to them. My number one concern in our place is, pets are treated as individuals with individual needs. They aren't cookie cutter images we can mold into our world of design. On the other hand, we are allowed to be creative. Owners here, have options. My role is to listen, learn from our pets people and creatively turn their pets into something they can manage between grooming experiences. With that being said, there are certain things I won't do for the owner at the pets expense. What a novel idea, eh?   Having been grooming in the same place for 7 years, you get attached to, not only peoples pets, but their owners as well. There's something to be said about hair stylists knowing many things about their clients. Groomers are no different in my opinion. If you care about people, you listen, and hear their concerns about what really matters in their life. I'm here to make your day as wonderful as it can be, with my experience as a Pet Stylist.
